‘Logan: Black, White & Blood’ Examines Wolverine Over Multiple Eras

Marvel brings back the original star of the Black, White, & Blood line in Logan: Black, White & Blood #1 this January.

The lineup includes Tom Waltz and Alex Lins story about Logan’s never-before-revealed military service during the 1950s (with a secret connection to another Marvel character), a mission in 1970s Times Square involving Logan and a serial killer by Saladin Ahmed and Adam Kubert, and longtime Wolverine writer Larry Hama and artist Dave Watcher’s examination of Logan’s experiences directly after his escape from the Weapon X program.

Previous entries in the Black, White, & Blood series have profiled Wolverine, DeadpoolMoon Knight, Elektra, Carnage, and Marvel Zombies. The Dark Lord of the Sith and Darth Maul also starred in the “blood-free” (at least in the title) Darth Vader: Black, White& Red  and Darth Maul: Black, White, & Red series.

Predator and Aliens also got into the bloody action in their respective series under Marvel’s 20th Century Studios banner as well.

Fans of treasury edition comics can also look forward to an eventual over-sized collection, ala all of the other releases in the line.
