Coinciding with the release of New Line’s upcoming The Conjuring sequel, discovery+ will pull back the curtain on the true story of the infamous “the devil made me do it” case in their latest Shock Docs Special.
Some of the many infamous objects that will be featured include the Dybbuk Box, a carved wooden statue owned by actor Steve McQueen, the Westerfeld dollhouse, actor Bela Lugosi’s mirror, the Warren’s Devil’s Rocking Chair and more.
Ed Gein: the Real Psycho features filmmaker and investigator Steve Shippy and medium Cindy Kaza (The Holzer Files) as they dig deeper into the story of Gein and reveal never before known facts and theories related to the case.
There are certainly many current ghost investigation programs on cable and streaming networks at this point in time, but few combine the realistic and humorous reactions to paranormal activity the way that the Ghost Brothers do.
The discovery+ exclusive series debuts with three episodes on Saturday, April 17 featuring Dalen Spratt, Juwan Mass, and Marcus Harvey, otherwise known as The Ghost Brothers.
The group will engage in a “friendly competition” to see who can scare their castmates the most, through the reveal of paranormal footage from the internet and beyond.
