John Romita Jr. returns as the full time artist on Amazing Spider-Man, just in time for the wall-crawler’s 60th anniversary.
The re-release of 2018’s Spider-Man No More Epic Collection starts off the Romita era with the Green Goblin storyline that established him as Spider-Man’s arch foe and was also reportedly the last straw for original Amazing Spider-Man artist Steve Ditko.
Those who missed out on 2017’s edition of The Amazing Spider-Man Omnibus Volume Three will now be able to enjoy some of Stan Lee and John Romita’s best comics to ever feature the lovable wall-crawler.
The majority of the stories take place between 1992 and 1994, focusing on the “return” of Peter Parker’s parents in the “Pursuit” and the story that gives this collection its title, “LifeTheft”, which features a powered-up Vulture.
This week’s picks feature the return of some notable (and infamous) heroes, two special celebration issues, and a brand new crime drama, further showcasing the variety available at any comic book shop in your neck of the woods.
