The tragic death of Gwen Stacy and the perceived death of the Green Goblin take center stage once again in the oft-reprinted Bronze Age Spider-Man classic by Gerry Conway, Gil Kane, and John Romita, Sr.
“The Death of Gwen Stacy” storyline and many others are collected in the reissued The Goblin’s Last Stand Epic Collection from The Amazing Spider-Man #105-123 and Foom #1 and #3.
All stories are written by Conway and Stan Lee (who finishes his solo Spider-Man scripting run in Amazing Spider-Man #110) with art by Romita, Sr., Kane, Jim Starlin, Paul Reinman, Frank Giacoia, Jim Mooney, and Tony Mortellaro.
Other highlights include battles against the Gibbon, Doctor Octopus, Professor Smythe and his Spider Slayer, Hammerhead, the Smasher, the Disruptor, and Kraven the Hunter, and guest appearances by Doctor Strange, the Incredible Hulk, and Powerman (Luke Cage).
The Goblin’s Last Stand Epic Collection was previously released in 2017 and 2021.
