The re-release of 2018’s Spider-Man No More Epic Collection starts off the Romita era with the Green Goblin storyline that established him as Spider-Man’s arch foe and was also reportedly the last straw for original Amazing Spider-Man artist Steve Ditko.
In addition to Spidey, Thor, and Ant-Man, the collection also represents early issues of the Incredible Hulk, Fantastic Four, and a variety of Marvel’s Sci-Fi, Western, and Romance comics.
The inaugural volume of Marvel and TASCHEN’s new line of over-sized, premium classic comic collections will be The Marvel Comics Library: Spider-Man. Vol. 1. 1962–1964, featuring the first 21 stories of Stan Lee and Steve Ditko’s run.
Doctor Strange knows a thing or two about the fluid nature of reality, so the return of the A Separate Reality Epic Collection would be no surprise to the good doctor.
The first three entries in the series will include: Black Panther, Captain America, and The Amazing Spider-Man, which will be published on June 14, 2022.
Like the original edition, the Omnibus contains: The Incredible Hulk #1-6, Tales to Astonish #59-101, and the relaunch of his solo series (borrowing the numbering from the cancelled Tales to Astonish) in The Incredible Hulk #102.
