Witness the ‘Birth of the Demon’ in New DC Finest Collection

One of Jack Kirby’s DC cult favorites of the Bronze Age gets his very own devilish DC Finest collection titled Birth of the Demon.

Birth of the Demon features his debut issue from 1972 and subsequent adventures in The Demon #1-16, anthology stories from The Batman Family #17 (Man-Bat and Jason Blood battle Morgaine Le Fey) and Detective Comics #482-485, team-ups with Batman in The Brave and the Bold #109 and 137, and a three-part monster mash in Wonder Woman #280-282.

In addition to “King” Kirby’s original series, the collection also includes work by Bob Rozakis, Bob Haney, Len Wein, Gerry Conway, Michael Golden, Jim Aparo, John Calnan, Bob McLeod, Dick Giordano, Steve Ditko, Jose Delbo, and Dave Hunt.

DC Finest: The Demon: Birth of the Demon consists of 536 pages for a suggested retail price of $39.99.
