Al Ewing and Stefano Caselli begin the strife in X-Men Red #1 this April, putting Storm, Magneto, Sunspot, Abigail Brand, Cable, Vulcan, and a host of Arakkonian natives into a complex political and militaristic situation.
Reader can look for the new Venom series in November and also get a preview of the new creative team’s take on the popular character on August 14 as a part of this year’s Free Comic Book Day.
Ewing is joined by artists Juan Frigeri and Valerio Schiti for the event, which kicks off with the July issues of Guardians of the Galaxy #16 and S.W.O.R.D. #7.
The former group of Hulk hunters spin directly out of Ewing’s Immortal Hulk series and will feature will former Alpha Flight member Puck, Crusher Creel: the Absorbing Man, Titania, Doc Sasquatch, Dr. Charlene McGowan, and a “Hulked-out” Rick Jones.
