Josh Gates’ Expedition Unknown returns in June with the start of a new season featuring a two-part hunt for the lost tomb of Alexander the Great.
The first episode of the two-part season premiere airs on Discovery on Wednesday, June 19 at 9PM ET/PT.
Gates will also seek to uncover a number of mysteries this season including the wreck of the torpedo bomber from WWII called the Barracuda above the Arctic Circle, the lost city of Rhaptaoff off the coast of Tanzania, treasure stolen by traitors during the American Revolution, the score from our nation’s first train robbery, and a three continent quest for the stolen bones of the saint who became Santa Claus.
