Relive Robin’s Bronze Age in Reissued Omnibus

Robin’s solo stories and team-ups from the Bronze Age are once again featured in the Robin: The Bronze Age Omnibus.

The Omnibus (originally released in 2020) collects Dick Grayson’s back-up stories and anthology entries from Batman #192, 202, 213, 227, 229-231, 234-236, 239, 240-242, 244, 245, 248-250, 252, 254, 259, 333, 337-339, and 341-343, Detective Comics #390-391, 394, 395, 398-403, 445, 447, 450, 451, and 481-495, Batman Family #1, 3-9, and 11-20, World’s Finest #200, and DC Comics Presents #31 and 58.

All stories are written by Gardner Fox, Mike Friedrich, E. Nelson Bridwell, Frank Robbins, Denny O’Neil, Elliot S, Maggin, Bob Rozakis, Cary Bates, Gerry Conway, Jack C. Harris, Paul Kupperberg, Marv Wolfman, and Mike W. Barr.

Art is provided by Sheldon Moldoff, Joe Giella, Chic Stone, Ross Andru, Mike Espisito, Gil Kane, Murphy Anderson, Vice Colletto, Irv Novick, Frank Giacoia, Dick Dillon, Dick Giordano, Rich Buckler, Frank McLaughlin, A. The 1970s’ stories (with three Silver Age ones snuck in at the start) feature a college age Dick Grayson (now enrolled at Hudson University in upstate Gotham) fighting crime and standing up against bullying. The original Robin also teams up with Batgirl (as well as Superman) in many of the Batman Family stories.

The foreword by James Tynion IV from the first edition is also included in the new version.

Completists should be aware that the two-page Robin story (titled “The Teen Age Gap”) from Detective Comics #386 was not added to the reprinted edition.

Robin: The Bronze Age Omnibus consists of 912 pages for a suggested retail price of $125.00.
