Matt Kindt’s MIND MGMT series returns with a brand new label that certifies that the entire comic is 100% Human-Made.
The new Flux House series titled MIND MGMT: New & Improved (which is also his first from his new publisher Oni Press) features the new emblem designed by Kindt as an “open-source certification for comics, graphic novels, and other visual, musical and audio forms of creative work to designate them as fully derived of the human imagination and otherwise free of elements designed or enhanced by generative artificial intelligence.”
Created under the Creative Commons “Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International” license, Kindt’s emblem is free to use and “distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format” for commercial and not-for-profit purposes (as long as it carries the following Creative Commons attribution: 100% HUMAN-MADE © 2026 by Matt Kindt, LLC is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0).
MIND MGMT: New & Improved #1 signals Kindt’s return to the series and his first new story in the MIND MGMT universe since 2015. The story arc is also entirely self-contained, offering a new entry point for those unfamiliar with the previous storylines.
The first issue will come with a die-cut cover designed by Kindt, and will also be available in a “blind bag” version, containing one of 15 exclusive, chase, or rare variant covers including ones by Jenna Cha, Jeff Lemire, Jesse Lonergan, Fábio Moon, David Rubín, Scott Suguichi , and J.H. Williams III.
