Food Network’s Halloween Programming Full of Treats and a Few Tricks

Halloween Baking Championship: Monday, Sept. 13 at 9:00 pm ET

Judges Stephanie Boswell, Carla Hall and Zac Young and host John Henson return for a 1980s slasher movie themed season, welcoming 10 new contestants to “Camp Devil’s Food Lake”. It also appears that this season’s baking challenges will pay homage to classic horror films, over more generic, and broader inspirations for the baking challenges in the quest to win the $25,000 prize and the Halloween Baking Championship crown.

Halloween Wars: Sunday, Sept. 19 at 9:00 pm ET

Paranormal investigator and impresario Zak Bagans acts as the new host for Halloween Wars, tasking teams with creating cake displays inspired by his personal collection of haunted and cursed artifacts from his Haunted Museum in Las Vegas. Judges Shinmin Li, Aarti Sequeira and Eddie Jackson will determine which teams stay and which teams go in the yearly battle involving cake, pumpkins, and hand-blown sugar designs.

Worst Cooks in America: Halloween Redemption 2: Sept. 26 at 10:00 pm ET

Anne Burrell and Michael Symon attempt to guide some truly horrifying cooks through the dangerous confines of a kitchen in this Halloween installment of the popular cooking competition.

Outrageous Pumpkins: Sunday, Oct. 3 at 10:00 pm ET

Buffy The Vampire Slayer’s Alyson Hannigan returns to the pumpkin patch to oversee seven of the country’s best pumpkin carvers in a cut-throat competition. Hannigan is joined by Judges Terri Hardin and Marc Evan who will determine who lands the $25,000 prize.
