Josh Gates, Phil Torres, and Heather Amaro begin another round of investigations into the paranormal in the new year.
Expedition X returns to Discovery on Wednesday, January 22.
Amaro replaced long-time member Jessica Chobot on the series, a move that was not welcomed by all fans of the series last season.

My wife and I have watched and enjoyed Josh’s expeditions for years. His Expedtion X show has deteriorated with the addition of Heather. She is almost always wearing tight outfits promoting her body even in cold Mayan Caves or interviewing locals. Even Phil in the recent episode on Werewolves in France disappointed me. After their hunters blind has suspicious tears and knocked over, he did not look for footprints or any evidence of the animal that did the damage. Why?
Too much looks staged although entertaining.
