The Bronze Age exploits of the Joker are featured in the new The Last Ha Ha DC Finest Collection.
The Joker: The Last Ha Ha contains stories originally published from 1969 to 1981 in Batman #251, 260, 286, 291-294, and 321, The Brave and the Bold #111, 118, 129-130, and 141, Detective Comics #475-476 and 504, The Joker #1-10, Justice League of America #77, and Joker backup features from Wonder Woman #280-283.
All stories are written by Denny O’Neil, Julius Schwartz, E. Nelson Bridwell, David V. Reed, Len Wein, Bob Haney, Steve Englehart, Gerry Conway, Elliot S! Maggin, and Martin Pasko.
Art is provided by Neal Adams, Irv Novick, Dick Giordano, Irv Novick, Bob Wiacek, John Calnan, Tex Blaisdell, Walt Simonson, Jim Aparo, Marshall Rogers, Terry Austin, Don Newton, Dan Adkins, Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez, Ernie Chan, Vince Colletta, Frank McLaughlin, Dick Dillin, and Joe Giella.
Highlights include the Clown Prince of Crime’s battles against Batman, in some of his best Bronze age stories such as “The Jokers 5-Way Revenge” and “The Laughing Fish”, and the entire Joker series from 1975, with the previously unpublished issue #10 (which was only available in The Joker Omnibus up to now). The cult favorite Joker solo series primarily features the Man Who Laughs against other villains such as Scarecrow, Lex Luthor, Catwoman, the Royal Flush Gang, as well as The Creeper and Green Arrow.
The Joker: The Bronze Age Omnibus was also recently rereleased and contains all of the contents of the DC Finest edition, along with a number of other issues from Batman, Detective Comics, and The Brave and the Bold.
The Joker: The Last Ha Ha consists of 552 pages for a suggested retail price of $39.99.
