‘The Crow’ Flies Back into Theaters for 30th Anniversary in May

Alex Proyas’ The Crow is back in theaters for the film’s 30th anniversary on May 29 and 30 to deliver supernatural vengeance to all who deserve it.

Tickets are not available yet, but the landing page (perch optional) is up on the official Cinemark website. Currently, The Crow is an exclusive Cinemark event , so watch Conskipper for updates if the Crow’s reach expands.

The screenings will also include a new featurette with production designer Alex McDowell, as he discusses the design of the original film.

Proyas’ The Crow (based on James O’Barr’s cult classic comic) was a surprise hit in 1994, fueled by the news of the untimely and tragic death of star Brandon Lee due to an on-set accident with a prop gun.

The Crow was also buoyed by a memorable soundtrack featuring Nine Inch Nails, The Cure, and Rage Against the Machine. The soundtrack hit number one on the Billboard charts in 1994 and sold 3.8 million copies.

The rerelease will help promote the new The Crow film, which will enter theaters on August 23, starring Bill Skarsgard of It fame.
