If WarnerMedia executives had access to the Dreamstone, they couldn’t have done better than Wonder Woman 1984’s performance on HBO Max this holiday season.
After the long-delayed release of last week’s Wonder Woman 1984, Warner Brothers is officially greenlighting a third, and final, film centering around the Amazon warrior.
With another standout film under its belt, the Wonder Woman franchise remains the crown jewel of DC’s cinematic offerings and Gal Gadot and Patty Jenkens remain the reigning queens of contemporary superhero filmmaking.
Just in case you are counting down the minutes until you get to see Gal Gadot reprise her role as the Amazonian goddess, why not check out the TV series responsible for bringing the character to the masses: Lynda Carter’s Wonder Woman.
Wonder Woman 1984 will soon be available for all to see in theaters and on HBO Max, and Warner Bros. just launched a new treat to whet everyone’s appetites for the main event. The studio uploaded the first three minutes and 10 seconds of the film for all to see on YouTube.
Patty Jenkins will follow up her directorial journey through Themyscira with a trip to a galaxy far, far away. The Wonder Woman 1984 director will helm Star Wars: Rogue Squadron for Lucasfilm.
