Jason Loo and Rafael Loureiro put Alison Blaire at center stage in her new Dazzler mini-series in September.
Another title coming from the “X-Men: From the Ashes” brand, the new series sees Dazzler hit the road for a new tour with some familiar mutant faces in tow including head of security Domino, personal guard Strong Guy, roadie Multiple Man, drummer Shark Girl, and publicist Wind Dancer.
Dazzler won’t have to only contend with the madness that a nation-wide tour brings, but also an increase in anti-mutant sentiments that will menace her and her crew.
Loo said “Rafael and I are giving everyone backstage access to the greatest show of the decade: the Dazzler World Tour! Sounds exciting? Not for Dazzler when she’s facing tons of pressure from all sorts of people trying to cancel her shows. But she’s not going down without a fight.”
Loureiro said “Ever since I can remember, I’ve been crazy about two things: music and drawing comics. To think that I would be able to combine both passions in my Marvel debut is beyond my wildest dreams. Not only that, but with such an amazing X-Men character as Dazzler—I absolutely had to jump at the chance!”
Look for the first issue at your local comic shop on September 18.
