‘Namor, the Sub-Mariner: Enter the Sub-Mariner’ Epic Collection Coming in April

Namor finally gets his own Epic Collection volume featuring his early Silver Age appearances in Namor, The Sub-Mariner: Enter the Sub-Mariner this April.

The 408 page Epic Collection includes all of his Marvel Age appearances including: Fantastic Four (1961) #4, #6, #9, #14, #27, #33 and Fantastic Four Annual#1, Avengers (1963) #3-4, X-Men (1963) #6, Daredevil (1964) #7, Strange Tales (1951) #107 and #125, and the start of his solo adventures in Tales To Astonish (1959) #70-76.

The stories are all written by Stan Lee with art by Jack Kirby and Gene Colan. The Sub-Mariner last received a Marvel collection in the black and white Essential series from 2009, which gathered all of Namor’s Tales to Astonish stories in one place.

If this edition sells well, look for the rest of Subby’s run in Tales to Astonish, as well as the beginning of his solo series, to also get the Epic Collection treatment.
