During The Walt Disney Company’s 2020 Investor Day presentation by Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios and chief creative officer announced that role of T’Challa will not be recast in the upcoming Black Panther II film.
Disney+ just added a brand new Marvel Studios opening credits sequence to Black Panther to honor its star, Chadwick Boseman, who sadly died on August 28th after a four year battle with colon cancer. The tribute launched today in honor of the late actor’s 44th birthday.
As the untimely passing of Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman continues to send shock waves through the comic book and movie industries, Todd McFarlane announced he will pay tribute to the legendary actor on an upcoming cover of Spawn.
Not only are single issues of Black Panther up for grabs, but any ancillary Wakanda-related titles are also available for free, such as the recent Shuri and Killmonger titles.
The network will play Black Panther commercial-free tonight, and follow the film with an ABC News Special entitled, Chadwick Boseman: A Tribute for a King.
