‘The Conjuring’ House Sold? Maybe Not Yet

The saga of the Harrisville, Rhode Island property known as The Conjuring House continues…

Justin Manning of JJ Manning Auctioneers revealed on Wednesday, October 8 that auction set to sell off the property will no longer take place due to a sale of the outstanding mortgage loan through Needham Bank.

The identity of the mortgage buyer has not been revealed, adding to the mystery behind the sale.

The auction was originally set to take place on October 31, which prompted Ghost Hunters and T.A.P.S co-founder Jason Hawes to start up a GoFundMe campaign to save the property for the paranormal investigative community.

Hawes initially shut down the GoFundMe campaign, but has since reopened it, claiming that there is still time to save the house.

In a YouTube message posted on Friday, October 10, Hawes was happy to report that while the mortgage was sold, the property is still for sale and said, “This actually makes it a more probability, higher probability than it were last week when we had to go up against everybody. We can do this.”

Check out Hawes’ recent update below and stay tuned to Conskipper to see if the auction will continue as planned on Halloween and/or if the identity of the new mortgage owner will be revealed as the convoluted sale of The Conjuring House continues.
