The infamous Rhode Island farmhouse profiled in The Conjuring is about to be sold again, this time at auction on Halloween.
The home in Burrillville has been listed on the JJManning Auctioneers website and is described as a “mortgagee’s foreclosure auction”.
The house had been operating as a tourist attraction, coordinated by former owner Jacqueline Nuñez, who bought the property in 2022 for $1.5 million.
The house is reportedly still an active haunted location, with numerous reports of ghostly apparitions and noises.
Unfortunately, the home has also been subject to non-paranormal troubles, which included Burrillville officials revoking Nuñez’s entertainment license last November, which essentially banned her from renting the property out for visits and over night stays, leading to battles with the town officials, employees, and those who put deposits down to stay at the property.
The Conjuring house auction will commence at 11:00 am on October 31, 2025.
