In anticipation of the upcoming Fantastic Four film, Marvel is releasing a brand new trade paperback collection featuring the Four’s first meeting with Galactus and the Silver Surfer and a later three-part Galactus storyline.
Fantastic Four vs. Galactus includes both stories from Fantastic Four #48-50 (by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby) and #242-244 (by John Byrne and Joe Sinnott).
The new trade paperback also contains an introduction by Fantastic Four writer Ryan North.
The MCU’s first Fantastic Four film (subtitled First Steps) will be released on July 25.
Fantastic Four Vs. Galactus consists of 136 pages for a suggested retail price of $17.99.

#242-244 was an “everybody vs Galactus” story, at the end of which Reed saves Galactus’s life.
The Trial of Reed Richards was a result of this act, and took place in #262.
