Dark Horse Begins ‘Marvel’s Most Villainous’ Archival Series with Magneto

Dark Horse Books begins their new Marvel’s Most Villainous hardcover collection series with one dedicated to the Master of Magnetism and the bane of the X-Men’s existence: Magneto.

The first volume (arriving in October 2026) explores Magneto over the course of sixty years, starting in 1963 through 2003 by comic greats such as Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Roy Thomas, Neal Adams, Chris Claremont, Dave Cockrum, John Byrne, Brent Eric Anderson, John Bolton, Butch Guice, John Romita Jr., Jim Lee, and Grant Morrison.

While no specific issues have been announced for the collection so far, it is reported that the hardcover collection will include some of Magneto’s most epic confrontations with the X-Men, the Avengers, the New Mutants, X-Factor, and the Mighty Thor.

In addition to the stories, artwork, and covers, the Magneto volume will also feature commentary and essays from comics historians John Lind and Chris Ryall.

Marvel’s Most Villainous: Magneto consists of 376 pages, measures 8″x11″, and comes with a suggested retail price of $65.00. Look for Magneto at your local comic book shop on October 6.
