The internationally-known Warren Occult Museum is relocating to Salem, Massachusetts this fall.
Now dubbed the Haunted Warren Museum, the haunted collection of Ed and Lorraine Warren will open to the public on August 27 at 259 Essex Street in Salem, Massachusetts.
The museum will feature the infamous Annabelle doll along with more than 1,000 artifacts across 13 exhibits from some of the Warren’s most famous cases, including the Amityville Horror and The Conjuring House.
Standard admission includes a self-guided flashlight tour lasting up to one hour. Additional tiers for more in-depth paranormal investigation experiences are also currently for sale.
It was initially reported that Comedian and paranormal enthusiast Matt Rife officially purchased Ed and Lorraine Warren‘s Occult Museum and their home in Monroe, CT in 2025.
The details of the deal were later clarified on facebook on the New England Society for Psychic Research page (NESPR) by Ed and Lorraine Warren’s son-in-law Tony Spera, stating that while the Speras sold the house and museum building to Rife, the artifacts inside the original museum still belong to the family, and are on lease to Rife.
In an interview with NBC Connecticut, Rife’s business partner Elton Castee clarified that the pair tried to find a Connecticut location for a new museum, but they were unable to due to zoning and fire code issues.
Castee also stated that the Salem location will not be a permanent instillation, so look for more news concerning the travelling Haunted Warren Museum after December 23 (when the museum officially closes in Salem).
Rife and Castee are still renting the original home of the Warren’s Occult Museum for overnight stays/investigations, but it is not clear if any of the objects will still be in the house.
