Marvel Comics mark the 50th anniversaries of Bullseye, Star-Lord (Peter Quill), Nova (Richard Rider), and Jack of Hearts in the Marvel Gold ’76 one-shot special.
The anniversary celebration by Stephanie Phillips, and Madibek Musabekov begins when Bullseye is contacted by Thanos, who sends him on a mission that inexplicably puts him into contact with other 1976 alumni Star-Lord, Nova, and Jack of Hearts.
Phillips said, “It was such an exciting opportunity to write a story that celebrates these characters and their legacies, which have helped shape not just comics, but pop culture as a whole. I can’t wait for readers to dig into this action-packed story and see the incredible artwork from Madibek Musabekov!”
Look for Marvel Gold ’76 at your local comic shop on September 9, with a main cover by Leinil Francis Yu.
