‘Spider-Man & Wolverine’ Team-Up for New Ongoing Series

Two of the most popular (and bestselling) heroes engage in a classic Marvel Team-Up in a new ongoing series simply titled Spider-Man & Wolverine.

The new ongoing comic book series by Marc Guggenheim and Kaare Andrews launches in May and puts Peter Parker and Logan in all sorts of sticky situations. Plot details are currently under wraps, but the first arc involves the duo being stalked by some unknown villainous forces.

“Spider-Man and Wolverine are probably my two favorite Marvel characters to write and among my favorites in all of comics,” Guggenheim said. “I wrote Peter and Logan very early in my career, so I’m particularly excited about returning to them with a great deal more of experience and skill to lend to the endeavor. Kaare Andrews and I are determined to deliver a comic book blockbuster every month, with action that never stops.”

“Spider-Man and Wolverine have always attracted the best artists in comics and I’m pulling from all of them,” Andrews added. “But honestly, it’s not just about individual artists—it’s about the era that shaped me. The late ‘80s and early ‘90s comics were a huge influence, and that’s where I first fell in love with the medium.”

Look for the first issue of the new series at your local comic shop on May 21.

  1. The same thing, over and over again with Spider being paired with either Deadpool or Wolvering. Why can’t Marvel do a Spider-Man & Black Widow ongoing series, or even a Spider-Man & Captain Britain(Brain/Betsy Braddock) ongoing series? Even a Spider-Man & Spider-Woman, or a Spider-Man & She-Hulk ongoing series would be fun to read.
