New ‘Giant-Size X-Men’ Anniversary Event Re-Examines Five Mutant Milestones

Marvel celebrates 50 years of Giant Size X-Men with five new Giant-Size issues from various X-Men eras.

Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing and artists such as Adam Kubert take on each one-shot, and each issue features a Revelations Back-Up Story by X-Men creators from the past and present that uncover hidden moments that will supposedly alter the X-Men’s future.

One of Marvel’s Free Comic Book Day offerings, Fantastic Four/Giant Size X-Men, will preview the coming summer event, with a focus on Kamala Khan’s transition into the X-Men in a monumental way, as the young Ms. Marvel witnesses the birth of the original Uncanny X-Men and their first encounter with Krakoa.

Giant-Size X-Men #1 will be available at your local comic shop on May 28.
