Batman: Knightfall Omnibus Vol. 2 sends the former Azrael on his own Knightquest as he attempts to fill Bruce Wayne’s bat boots.
Originally released as a hardcover omnibus in 2017, Vol. 2 once again collects Detective Comics #667-675, Robin #1, Batman: Shadow of the Bat #19-28, Batman #501-508, Catwoman #6-7, and Justice League Task Force #5-6.
All stories are written by Chuck Dixon, Doug Moench, Alan Grant, Dennis O’Neil and Jo Duffy, with art by Graham Nolan, Mike Manley, Tom Grummett, Barry Kitson, Jim Balent, Bret Blevins, Ron Wagner, Vince Giarrano, Sal Velluto, Scott Hanna, Eduardo Barreto, Bob Wiacek, Joe Rubinstein, Dick Giordano, John Beatty, Frank McLaughlin, Robert R. Smith, Ray Kryssing, Ron McCain, Jeff Albrecht, and Steve George.
Jean-Paul Valley’s “quest” to eliminate crime in Gotham City takes a violent turn, as the new Batman employs more vicious methods that end up alienating both Robin and Commissioner Gordon. Valley’s quest leads him into confrontations with Bane, Mekros, Gunhawk, Abattoir, and the Joker.
The Omnibus also includes an introduction by Scott Peterson.
