Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely’s ‘All-Star Superman’ Receives New Deluxe Edition

Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely’s seminal Superman series, All-Star Superman, gets the deluxe treatment in a brand new, slightly-oversized hardcover edition from DC Comics this January.

The latest collection encompasses the entire 12-issue miniseries with some behind-the-scenes extras thrown in for good measure.

All-Star Superman won the Eisner Award for Best New Series in 2006 and Best Continuing Series in 2007 and 2009 (as it took three years to produce the entire series). Quitely won a Harvey Award for Best Artist in 2008, and Issue #8 of the series also won the award for Best Single Issue in the same year.

While a trade paperback edition of he series is still in print, a hardcover edition has not been in print since 2011’s Absolute All-Star Superman (a much heftier book in terms of weight and price at $99.99).

The All-Star Superman Deluxe Edition retails for $34.99. The 328 page hardcover will be available at your local comic book shop or bookstore on January 25.
