Marvel is aiming for a bullseye with the first Epic Collection featuring their very own sharp-shooter, Clint Barton, in Hawkeye: The Avenging Archer.
The collections contains the original Hawkeye mini-series from 1983 by Mark Gruenwald and Brett Breeding, as well as a tour through Barton’s career in The Avengers #16, 63-65, 189 and 223, Marvel Team-Up #22, 92 and 95, Captain America #317, and solo stories from Tales of Suspense #57, 60 and 64, Marvel Tales #100, Marvel Fanfare #3 and 39, and Marvel Super Action #11.
The stories represent the creative work of Marvel royalty such as Stan Lee, Roy Thomas, Steven Grant, Roger Stern, David Michelinie, Len Wein, Mike Nasser, Charlie Boatner, J. M. DeMatteis, Jack Kirby, Gene Colan, John Byrne, Sal Buscema, Carmine Infantino, Jimmy James, Paul Neary, Don Heck, Trevor von Eeden, Joe Staton, Danny Bulandi, Eliot Brown, Ian Akin, Brian Garvey, Dick Ayers, Sam Grainger, Dan Green, Greg LaRocque, Frank Giacoia, Dave Hunt, Pablo Marcos, Bruce Patterson, Dennis Janke, Chic Stone, Joe Rubinstein, Terry Austin, Kim De Mulder.
The Hawkeye: The Avenging Archer Epic Collection arrives on January 19, and retails for $39.99 for 432 pages of content.
