Chris Claremont’s and Tom Reilly’s rare Wolverine story (previously only available in the Marvel Made Paragon Collection: Chris Claremont) is now available as a one-shot comic.
The standalone story ties directly into the original 1982 Wolverine mini-series by Claremont and Frank Miller and injects Sabretooth into the mix, as he pursues Logan’s first love, Mariko Yashida.
Wolverine gets some help from his X-Men teammates, as they combine their mutant powers to teach Sabretooth a lesson.
Wolverine #1 also contains bonus materials celebrating Chris Claremont’s fifty-plus years in comics.
X-Men by Chris Claremont: Prelude to a Future Past #1 (also contained in the Paragon Collection) was released as a one-shot comic was released in July.
