Skybound and Act 4 Publishing continue to release fan favorite Artist’s Editions with the Doctor Strange by Paul Smith Artist’s Edition, coming in the summer of 2026.
The deluxe 12” x 17” hardcover presents Paul Smith’s complete stories from Doctor Strange #65, #69, #70, and #72 and his 10-page Daredevil story from Marvel Fanfare #1, along with over 40 additional pages from various Marvel issues, covers, and rare artwork.
“Paul Smith, at this point in his career, was doing some of his best Marvel art ever,” said Scott Dunbier. “A good portion of this book features Paul inking his own stuff, and his delicate linework is truly a treat to behold, just gorgeous.”
“Paul Smith was truly hitting an amazing stride when he took on Doctor Strange,” said Senior Editor Nachie Marsham. “This Artist’s Edition is a stellar showcase of his linework and imagination.”
Similar to other Artist’s Editions, although the pages appear to be black and white, the art is scanned in color, enabling readers to experience the pages with all of the ink gradients, blue pencil, and other aspects of the original art pages in the 12” x 17” hardcover format.
