One of Skybound, Image Comics, and Scott Dunbier’s Act 4 Publishing’s upcoming releases will be a new expanded edition of Wally Wood’s EC Stories Artist’s Edition in 2026.
Coming February 2026, the Wally Wood EC Stories Artist’s Edition-Expanded will include all 18 stories from the long out-of-print first edition (originally published by IDW in 2012) and an additional 10 stories in the genres that EC was known for: horror, sci-fi, and suspense.
Some of the stories in the collection include My World, Came the Dawn, Mars Is Heaven, Atom Bomb, Blockade, along with over a dozen covers by Wood , and the unpublished “Spawn of Venus” story originally intended for the canceled Three-Dimensional Science Fiction.
“Wally Wood is one of my very favorite artists and seeing his beautiful work in this unique way is an extraordinary experience” said Dunbier.
Other upcoming Act 4 Publishing and Skybound releases include Jim Aparo’s DC Classics Artist’s Edition In September and Darwyn Cooke’s The Complete Spirit Connoisseur Edition in October.
Future releases on the way include J. Scott Campbell’s Danger Girl Artist Edition, Dave Stevens’ Covers and Stories’ Connoisseur Edition, Jason Pearson’s Body Bags Artist’s Edition, Paul Smith’s Leave It to Chance Artist’s Edition.
The over-sized Wally Wood EC Stories Artist’s Edition-Expanded will be available at comic book shops on January 28, 2026, and at booksellers on February 10, 2026.
