Dark Horse Books Continues Richard Corben Library with ‘The Last Voyage of Sindbad’

Dark Horse Books presents the next volume of the Richard Corben Library in the Spring of 2026 with the release of the rare The Last Voyage of Sindbad collection.

The long out-of-print story (previously titled New Tales of the Arabian Nights) by Jan Strnad and Corben will feature restored art by project art director José Villarrubia, new introductions by Strnad and Guillermo del Toro, essays by Villarrubia, Harlan Ellison, and Maurice Horn, and other bonus material.

The Last Voyage of Sindbad originally appeared in Heavy Metal issues #15–28 in 1978 and 1979) and was later collected and reprinted as a trade paperback book in 1988.

The Last Voyage of Sindbad hardcover consists of 120 pages for a suggested retail price of $34.99.

Look for Sindbad at your local comic shop on May 27, 2026.

Previous Richard Corben Library releases have included five volumes in the Den series, Rowlf and Other Fantasy Stories, Ratgod, and Corben’s last comic book series, Dimwood.
