Jim Lee and Scott Williams’ landmark Image Comics/Wildstorm series WildCATS gets the compendium treatment in a new collection from DC Comics.
The trade paperback compendium collects WildCATs: Covert Action Teams #0-13 and 15-20, Team One: WildCATs #1-2, Team One: StormWatch #1-2, WildCATs :Covert Action Teams Special, WildCATs Trilogy #1-3, WildCATs Sourcebook #1-2, and Cyberforce #1-3.
Along with Lee and Williams, the collection contains work by Brandon Choi, Chris Claremont, James Robinson, Steve Gerber, Dafydd Wyn, Eric Silvestri, Marc Silverstri, Brett Booth, Travis Charest, Jae Lee, Alex Garner, Al Vey, Troy Hubbs, Richard Bennett, Michael Fecci, John Dickinson, Rich Johnson, and John Tighe.
One comic that you will not see in the collection is WildCATS #14 by fellow Image Comics co-founder Erik Larsen. The missing issue guest stars the Savage Dragon and Freak Force, who are both firmly entrenched at Image.
The WildCATS Compendium consists of 952 pages for a suggested retail price of $59.99.
