A new edition of the New Teen Titans Omnibus Vol. 2 revisits one of the greatest series (and runs) in comic history by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez.
The Omnibus collects New Teen Titans #21-41, New Teen Titans Annual #1-2, and Batman and the Outsiders #5 by Wolfman, Pérez, Mike W. Barr, Romeo Tanghal, Keith Pollard, Jim Aparo, and Pablo Marcos.
The collection opens with an introduction to the seminal series by co-creator Wolfman, before diving into the stories featuring the original Robin, Wonder Girl, Kid Flash, Starfire, Cyborg, Raven, and Changeling.
Two years into the run, the Titans are again up to their necks in super villain and real-world problems. Highlights include a five-part adventure into space (guest starring The Omega Men) to free Starfire from the clutches of her evil sister Blackfire, the introduction of the mysterious Terra, the debut of Thunder and Lightning, the return of frequent foes Deathstroke, Brother Blood, the Brotherhood of Evil, the first appearance of Vigilante, a team-up with Batman and the Outsiders vs. the Fearsome Five, and the abrupt departure of founding members Dick Grayson and Wally West.
The first edition of the New Teen Titans Omnibus Vol, 2 was released in 2017. The second volume of the original New Teen Titans Omnibus series was released in 2012, but the contents differed. The new series of reissues began with Vol. 1 in 2022.
The New Teen Titans Omnibus Vol. 2 consists of 640 pages for a suggested retail price of $100.00.
