Todd McFarlane and David Michelinie Era of Spider-Man Highlighted in ‘Assassin Nation’ Epic Collection

The Amazing Spider-Man: Assassin Nation Epic Collection returns to shine the webbed spotlight on Todd McFarlane and Davis Michelinie’s popular run on everyone’s favorite wall crawler’s series.

The reissued Epic Collection (originally released in 2017) collects The Amazing Spider-Man #311-325, The Amazing Spider-Man Annual #23. and the flashback The Amazing Spider-Man: Parallel Lives graphic novel by Gerry Conway and Alex Saviuk.

The stories from 1988 and 1989 also include work by Tom DeFalco, Fred Hembeck, Peter Sanderson, Rob Liefeld, Erik Larsen, Mark Bagley, Ron Frenz, Richard Brickwell, Andy Mushynsky, Al Gordon, Tim Dzon, James Brock, Gavin Curtis, Vince Mielcarek, Keith Williams, Mike Esposito, Chris Ivy, and Don Hudson.

In addition to the title story starring Spidey, Silver Sable, Paladin, and Captain America, Peter Parker must also contend with Mysterio, Green Goblin, Hobgoblin, Lizard, Rhino, Scorpion, and Venom, and a demonic infestation in an “Inferno” crossover. The Epic Collection also includes on part of the “Atlantis Attacks” summer annual event with Spidey teaming with the She-Hulk against the Abomination.

Assassin Nation was originally collected in graphic novel form in 1992.

The Amazing Spider-Man: Assassin Nation Epic Collection consists of 480 pages for a suggested cover price of $44.99.
