The latest Thor Epic Collection contains some of the hammer hurlers key adventures from the 1970s entitled War of the Gods.
War of the Gods collects The Mighty Thor #242-259, Thor Annual #5 and Marvel Spotlight #30 with the action opening with the arrival of the Time-Twisters and an adventure with Zarrko, the Tomorrow Man.
Other highlights in War of the Gods include a battle with former herald of Galactus, Firelord, the god-killer Mangog, Ulik the Troll, a team-up with Hercules, and even a solo adventure of The Warriors Three.
Len Wein and John Buscema provide most of the story and art in this one (from 1975-77), joined by fellow Marvel Bullpen members Steve Englehart, David Anthony Kraft. Tony Dezuniga, Pablo Marcos, and Joe Sinnott.
The War of the Gods Epic Collection contains 448 pages for a suggested retail price of $44.99.
