Journey back to 1981 for the continuation of the chrome-plated space knight’s adventures across the cosmos and the Marvel Universe in the new Rom Epic Collection.
Rom: The Original Marvel Years Vol. 2 collects Rom #21-33, Rom Annual #1, and Power Man and Iron Fist #73 by the primary team of Bill Mantlo, Sal Buscema, and Joe Sinnott.
The collection also includes work by Mary Jo Duffy, Steven Grant, Mark Gruenwald, Greg La Rocque, Pat Broderick, Ricardo Villamonte, Steve Mitchell, Mike Gustovich, Chic Stone, Mike Esposito, Frank Giacoia, Al Milgrom, and Rick Magyar.
The latest Epic Collection picks up right where Vol. 1 left off, with Rom the Space knight navigating friends and foes such as the Torpedo, the Dire Wraiths, Power Man and Iron Fist, the Fantastic Four, Nova, Diamondhead, the Skrulls, Stardust, Mystique, Rogue, Destiny, Avalanche, Pyro, and the Blob of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, and even Terrax the Tamer and Galactus.
If you’re looking for an even weightier and prestigious way to experience the Space Knight’s adventures, there are currently three “Rom-nibus” editions available that collect the entire series.
Rom’s comic book adventures were most recently published by IDW (2016-2020), where the Space Knight teamed up with other former Marvel toy licensees such as The Micronauts (now back in the fold as well) and The Transformers, as well as headlining a number of solo mini-series.
The Epic Collection consists of 384 pages for a suggested retail price of $49.99.
