Continuing the Rom the Spaceknight renaissance, Marvel will issue a brand new collection featuring both two-part Rom/X-Men team-ups entitled Rom and the X-Men: Marvel Tales #1 in December.
The latest Marvel Tales will collect Rom #17-18 (1981) and #31-32 (1982) by Bill Mantlo, Sal Buscema, and Joe Sinnott, showcasing Rom’s first encounter with the popular mutants, the Brood, the Dire Wraiths, and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants (featuring Rogue before she decided to join the Charles Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters).
Rom and the X-Men: Marvel Tales #1 comes with a new cover by Nick Bradshaw and will be in stores on December 20.
In addition to the Marvel Tales issue and a facsimile edition of Rom #1, the first Rom Omnibus will be available in January 2024, with the second volume arriving on Earth in June.
