Marvel Celebrates the Bronze Age’s Giant-Size Comics Throughout 2024

Marvel Comics is going big in 2024 with a new series of Bronze Age-style Giant-Size Comics, commemorating 50 years of the beloved over-sized issues.

The Giant-Size event will kick off in January (1/10) with Giant-Size Spider-Man #1 by Cody Ziglar and Iban Coello, featuring a titanic battle between Miles Morale and Venom. Similar to the Giant issues of the past, the issue will also offer a reprint of a classic tale in the form of Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man #22 by Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli that features the conclusion of Miles’ first battle with Ultimate Venom.

Marvel actually starts the Giant-Size party in December (12/27) with a special facsimile edition of 1974’s first Giant-Size title ever, Giant-Size Super-Stars #1, by Gerry Conway and Rich Buckler, featuring an in-ring battle between frequent dance partners The Thing and the Incredible Hulk.
