Bring on the bad guys! Alex Ross follows up on his Marvel Comics Poster Book with an all-new poster collection of the greatest villains, heels, and ne’re do wells in the Marvel Universe.
For those unfamiliar with the original Marvel Comics Poster Book, the new Villains-centric one measures 11″ x 16″ with 37 ready-to-frame, removable art prints and a large four-page gatefold horizontal poster featuring all 37 iconic portraits.
The Alex Ross Marvel Comics Super Villains Poster Book also includes a new introduction and commentary by Ross, sketches, and ancillary illustrations. While everyone is obviously picking up the poster book for the art, Ross’ commentary is insightful and a peek behind the curtain about his thoughts on the characters and his artistic choices.
All of the art prints and gatefold poster are removable, and can be separated from the book without damaging the book in the process. The illustrations were previously used as variant covers for Marvel’s Timeless event in March of 2023.
