‘Persona 5 The Animation’ is Getting a Long Anticipated English Dub that is Sure to Steal Hearts

After two long years, fans of Atlus’ Persona 5 are finally getting an English dub for the anime (produced by AniplexUS) of the same name. The English dub cast of the original video game will be reprising their roles, making it certain that the newly dubbed anime will surely “steal your heart” if you are a Persona 5 fan.

The price for the Blu-ray (featuring all 26 episodes, 2 specials, and 12 limited edition cards featuring your favorite Phantom Thieves) is currently at a staggering price of $298.98. This might cause some fans to question if this price is in fact, “for real”, however many super “Phans” will probably want to get their hands on the set as soon as possible.

The story itself is very closely related to that of the video game. The original Japanese version is very similar to cutscenes from the game. However, the game’s protagonist, Ren, gets to talk in complete sentences, which is never seen in the game itself. Fans of the game are anxious to see voice actor Xander Mobus, as Ren, take on this task.

The English cast also features Max Mittleman, Erika Harlacher, Cassandra Lee Morris, Matt Mercer, Cherami Leigh, Erica Lindbeck, Xanthe Huynh, and Robbie Daymond, all reprising their roles as the Phantom Thieves.

The blu-ray set is currently available for pre-order from Right Stuf Anime and will be released in September 29, 2020.
