NBC ends the summer with an Inside the Worlds of Epic Universe primetime special showcasing Universal Orlando’s new theme park.
The special will be hosted by Joe Manganiello, airing on Wednesday, August 20 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, and streaming the next day on NBC’s Peacock.
“As a kid growing up a huge fan of the movies, I couldn’t be more excited about diving into these immersive worlds that bring some of my all-time favorite characters to life,” Manganiello said in an NBC statement. “From the iconic monsters of Dark Universe to the super-sized attractions of How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, there is something for everyone to enjoy.”
Manganiello will dive into all five of the new “worlds” found inside Epic Universe including Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter-Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon-Isle of Berk, and the home to Universal’s Monsters in Dark Universe.
Manganiello will be joined by Mason Thames, Nico Parker, Warwick Davis, Bowen Yang, Matt Rogers on his journey around Epic Universe.
The special will also include clips from Steven Spielberg, Bryce Dallas Howard, Michelle Yeoh, Vin Diesel, and Jon Chu talking about the new theme park.
