Michael Keaton’s Batman and Ezra Miller’s New Flash Costume are Featured in Concept Art from DC FanDome

It was revealed by Flash director Andy Muschietti at DC FanDome that Ezra Miller would be ditching the clunky, Power Rangers-esque Flash suit that he wore in the the Justice League films for a more traditional sleek version.

And while everyone was focused on Miller’s shiny new duds in the concept art that Muschietti displayed, many fans missed Michael Keaton’s Batman squaring up to assist the Flash against some gun-totting villains.

Keaton’s version of Batman from the Tim Burton films was confirmed for The Flash in June and the return of Ben Affleck’s Batman was also discussed days before the FanDome event on August 22.

At this point, it appears that the film will be a version of DC’s Flashpoint series, which reestablished the DC Multiverse, leading to the reboot of their comic line in the New 52 in 2011. This concept was even teased in an episode of The CW’s Flash, when Miller met Grant Gustin’s Flash. In all likelihood, The Flash film will expand the multiverse concept to allow for future crossovers and team-ups, in DC’s film world more so than the CW’s stable of DC programs.

The Flash is tentatively scheduled for release on June 3, 2022.
