‘Marvel: February 1964’ Omnibus Headlined by the Debut of Daredevil

Matt Murdock swings onto the scene in the new Marvel: February 1964 Omnibus edition, capturing all of the comics produced by the company in the momentous month of Daredevil’s birth.

The February 1964 Omnibus includes Daredevil #1, The Amazing Spider-Man #12, Fantastic Four #26, Journey Into Mystery #103, Kid Colt Outlaw #116, Millie the Model #120, Modeling with Millie #30, Patsy Walker #114, Strange Tales #120, Tales of Suspense #53, Tales to Astonish #55, Two-Gun Kid #69, The Avengers #5, Patsy and Hedy #94, Rawhide Kid #40, Sgt. Fury #7 and The Uncanny X-Men #5.

All stories are written by Stan Lee and Larry Lieber, with art by legends Bill Everett, Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, George Roussos [as George Bell], Chic Stone, Jack Keller, Stan Goldberg, Dick Ayers, Don Rico (as N. Korok), Sol Brodsky, and Paul Reinman.

In addition to the origin of Daredevil (who is celebrating his 60th anniversary this year) additional early Marvel Mania highlights include Doc Ock unmasking Spider-Man, the Avengers and FF’s team-up to stop the Hulk, The Enchantress and a helmeted Executioner taking on Thor for the first time, an unlikely pairing between the Human Torch and Ice Man, Iron Man’s second showdown with the formerly villainous Black Widow, Giant Man and the Wasp vs. The Human Top, an Invasion of the Lava Men halted by the Avengers, and the X-Men’s rescue of Angel from Magneto and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants on Asteroid M.

Previous Omnibus volumes, Marvel: August 1961, Marvel: June 1962, Marvel: July 1963, featured the debuts of the Fantastic Four (1961), Spider-Man, Ant-Man, and Thor (1962), and the Uncanny X-Men and the Avengers (1963),

The Marvel: February 1964 Omnibus consists of a slim 480 pages for a suggested cover price of $100.00.
