Frank Miller’s Daredevil Run Begins in ‘To Dare the Devil’ Epic Collection

Frank Miller begins his character-defining running on Daredevil in the new To Dare the Devil Epic Collection.

To Dare the Devil collects Daredevil #155-176, an Elektra story from Bizarre Adventures #28, and What If? #28, where Daredevil becomes an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.

In addition to the art and scripting by Miller (and longtime inking partner Klaus Janson), the collection contains writing by Roger McKenzie (who Miller worked with before taking over the full writing duties in Daredevil #168), David Michelinie, Mary Jo Duffy, Michael Fleisher, and Mike W. Barr, with additional art by Frank Robbins, Gene Colan, Steve Ditko, Frank Springer, and Joe Rubinstein.

Miller also introduces Elektra (and her connections to Matt Murdock’s backstory) and The Hand in the collection, and features battles with his two primary adversaries, the Kingpin and Bullseye.

Daredevil: To Dare the Devil Epic Collection consists of 496 pages with a suggested retail price of $54.99.
