Universal Parks & Resorts will be bringing a year-round Halloween Horror Nights-style entertainment venue to Las Vegas in the near future.
The permanent Horror experience looks to capitalize on Universal’s library of classic horror films as well as the latest horror offerings.
The immersive horror experience will include a number of themed bars and restaurants, as well as haunted houses and scare zones. The new attraction will also feature continuously updated experiences (especially with all of the props and sets from years of Halloween Horror Nights on both coasts), seasonal events, and limited edition merchandise.
Page Thompson, President, New Ventures, Universal Parks & Resorts says that “Universal is known for our ability to deliver original, highly-themed and terrifying horror entertainment experiences for millions of fans every year. We are excited to give our global fanbase yet another way to get scared and have fun with fear in the heart of Las Vegas, the perfect place for this type of unique concept.”
Universal’s new horror experience (which does not currently have an official name) will be housed at Las Vegas’ immersive AREA15 entertainment district, most prominently the home to Meow Wolf’s trippy fun house/escape room/play area Omega Mart.
No timetable has been set for Universal’s foray into a permanent horror entertainment, but stay tuned to Conskipper for more updates.
