Marvel Announces Four Titles for Free Comic Book Day 2023

Marvel Comics has announced four new comics for Free Comic Book Day 2023, including Avengers/X-Men, Spider-Man/Venom, Marvel’s Voices, and Spidey and His Amazing Friends.

Avengers/X-Men serves as preview of both titles, with stories by Gerry Duggan and Joshua Cassara (providing a look at this year’s Hellfire Gala and the fate of Captain Krakoa), Duggan and Javier Garrón (about the rise of Stark Sentinels and the formation of another Avengers/X-Men split squad team), and Jonathan Hickman and Valerio Schiti (and their science and magic mystery project).

Spider-Man/Venom features stories by Zeb Wells and Patrick Gleason (with a focus on Peter Parker’s new spidey suit) and Al Ewing and CAFU (detailing a symbiote experiment gone wrong and the creation of a new enemy for Venom).

Marvel’s Voices contains work by John Jennings, Nyla Innuksuk, Sabir Pirzada, Alyssa Wong, Cody Ziglar, Paris Alleyne, Natasha Donovan, Eric Koda, Stephen Byrne, Diogenes Neves, and Eder Messias (with appearances by Ms. Marvel, Luke Cage, Wave, and Ironheart).

Younger readers will be able to get in on the action as well with a comic aimed squarely at the Disney Junior set entitled Spidey & His Amazing Friends.

Look for all four free comics at your local comic shop and be sure to check which shops will be participating in your area at the official FCBD website.
