The Bronze Age exploits of Johnny Blaze continue in the new Ghost Rider: To Slay a Demon Epic Collection.
To Slay a Demon collects stories originally published between1980 and 1982 from Ghost Rider #51-66, Marvel Two-in-One #80, The Avengers #214, and the “What If Ghost Rider Were Separated from Johnny Blaze?” tale from What If #28.
All stories are written by Michael Fleisher, Tom DeFalco, and Jim Shooter, with art by Don Perlin, Jack Sparling, Tom Sutton, Ron Wilson, Herb Trimpe, Luke McDonnell, Alan Kupperberg, Bob Hall, Carmine Infantino, Mike Esposito, Sal Trapani, Chic Stone, Dan Green, Frank Giacoia, Al Milgrom, and Frank Miller.
Michael Fleisher wraps up his Ghost Rider run and pits the hottest demon on two wheels vs. the Water Wizard, the demon Azmodeus, Tatterdemalion, the Sirens of Kronos, Moondark, and fellow motor cycle madman the Orb.
The Rider gets help from fellow horror hero Werewolf by Night, the Night Rider (the original Old West Ghost Rider), and the Thing in the collection, but also battles fellow heroes the Avengers after Blaze confronts the X-Men’s Angel.
To Slay a Demon follows directly after G.R.’s previous Epic Collection titled Deathrace (which was released in 2025).
The Ghost Rider: To Slay a Demon Epic Collection consists of 440 pages for a suggested retail price of $49.99.
