Fathom Entertainment is bringing back Tobe Hooper’s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre on August 18 to celebrate the film and the upcoming documentary Chain Reactions about the legacy of Hooper’s masterpiece.
Officially dubbed “Texas Chainsaw Day”, the screening will include the original 1974 film and an exclusive sneak-peak at the upcoming documentary directed by Alexandre O. Phillipe.
Chain Reactions features in-depth interviews with Stephen King, Patton Oswalt, Karyn Kusama, Takashi Miike, Alexandra Heller-Nicholas, and many more, speaking about the cultural impact of the twisted classic.
